This is it. If this moment was as good as it gets, how would you want to feel? How can you tap into your infinite ability for living full in this moment and the next? What are you waiting for to show up that is going to bring the happiness you desire most? When it does, what will truly change? And… will the things that currently trigger you into less desirable ways of being no longer have the same effect? The truth is, not much will change other than the presence of said thing. If you truly feel better on the inside and in more moments than before, it is because you finally gave your self permission to let go of whatever limiting beliefs you were holding on to, however in turn, giving that “thing” all of the power, when in fact it was you all along. The point is, that in this moment, with or without said thing, you can let go of that belief and tell yourself a new story. Thoughts only have power when we believe they are true. Demystify your truths. What’s really going on? You have the power right here and now to create that which you desire. The tangible stuff is the easy work. If you are interested in living in awe, this work requires action and consistency. It is not enough to understand it conceptually, we have to put in dedicated time to questioning “what the hell just happened when I was triggered by that thing, comment, reaction or whatever?”. It is no one else’s responsibility to decide how you should feel and respond. It is yours alone and your choice only.
I am dedicated to this work because it has had a dramatic change in the way I live my life and I have seen it in countless others. It is our birthright to question our thoughts and move our bodies. I incorporate movement, meditation and ritual into my offerings because I believe it makes the experience more tangible. If we are interested in the work of self inquiry, asking our selves; “what was we thinking when I felt that way?”, can be extremely challenging, if not impossible. When it comes to mental health and self love, the last thing we want to feel is defeated from the start. I suggest we forget about the thoughts for a moment and remember our bodies and become embodied. We reach further and wider into the expanse of our truest nature and highest power. It is a surefire way to get closer to those thoughts when we have been on auto pilot for so long, if not forever. If we do not know our bodies, our most tangible layer of the self, how will we ever know and understand our minds? That is where yoga shows up, mind and body yolked into one being. It is a union. You can not explore mind with out knowing body too, they directly effect one another. Starting from the point of the body is the easiest way in. It is a given, that if you continue to examine and explore the body, self inquiry and exploration of the mind are inevitable. It is ancient science, that evolves as it’s practitioners do. It is the way and reason the eight limbs of yoga are presented in the order they are. We can conceptually understand all of the workings of yoga, self inquiry, life coaching, mental health and cognitive behavior, but until we put it into practice, we don’t stand a chance against the completion… The mind.
