Creating The Container
You have to set the table,
pull up a chair,
scheduled it in,
dim the lights,
put on some tunes,
go to the store,
buy the supplies,
make the blueprint,
have a pen,
get a notebook,
add the contact,
make the reservation,
ask a friend,
light the candle,
map the route,
buy the tickets,
water the plants,
hire the contractor,
create the Pinterest board,
send the invitation,
chime the bell,
plan the menu,
invite the guests,
tell your family you won't be available,
turn on the oven,
follow the recipe,
find the teacher,
wake up early,
say no,
create a commitment,
do some editing,
take a vow,
do the work,
dig the hole,
practice and evaluate,
plant the seeds,
decide on your goal,
go to the class,
make it a priority.
When you change your relationship to alcohol, you don't just stop drinking.
You have to unlearn the habit.
You have to dismantle the layers of conditioning.
You have to bring it to the forefront of your mind because you are learning about the Woman you have become, and who she is alcohol-free.
You have to CREATE THE CONTAINER for sacred time, self-study.
You have to make a commitment and a ritual.
You have never learned anything new, or created a result without some preparation, tools, new information.
But it has to be consistent.
It becomes a new way of life, just like drinking is.
You formed that habit by doing it often, right?
It is not one and done.
It is unfolding.
And it is beautiful.
It is a process of welcoming yourself home.
A remembrance of who you are.
The soul is being expressed through the body.
Not the identity that you have created that is attached to alcohol.
It is far BEYOND what you ever thought possible.
Come journey with me in 1:1 coaching and in today's podcast. , We create the container to commit to making this work matter, because it's the most important thing you will do in your life.
It truly doesn't get better,
Mary
