That's Not A Problem

We have no groceries.
The floor needs to be vacuumed.
There are cobwebs in the corners.
My client didn't show up.
Emmet never listens the first time.
I'm too tired for sex.
Matthew starts a new project before he finishes one.
Llewy's shedding.
My morning routine is inconsistent.
I want to hike every day, but I'm scared to be in the woods by myself.
I need to drink less coffee.
Emmet's daycare closed down.
It's fire season and trees are too close to the house.
I have to pay the bills.
The taxes are late.

These are the thoughts rolling around in my brain, 60,000 of them, everyday.
90% the same, and habitually towards the negative.

This is happening in your brain too.

This is why joy is hard to experience naturally.
These thoughts alone (not the actual circumstance) create the EMOTIONS of overwhelm, stress, anxiety, fear, LACK.

Because I practice mental hygiene and emotional intimacy on purpose, everyday, these thoughts don't FEEL the same anymore. They don't have the same emotional charge.

I have a 3 step process I teach my clients:
1) RELAXATION: BREATHE and become AWARE of your thinking.
Write down the very specific sentences in your brain.
Thoughts have no power if you don't attach meaning to them.
But you have to see them to understand why you feel the way you do.

2) VALIDATION: (AKA: be sweet to yourself/compassion)
It's normal to be overwhelmed you have a lot going on.
You are also experiencing a hormonal fluctuation at this time of the month, so there's less space for external information.
You've been drinking for a long time, it makes sense that it's challenging to stop.

3) CONTEMPLATION: Get curious, ask new questions:
What if none of these thoughts were problems, what would you do? (this is my favorite)
Nothing has gone wrong, so what's the next step?
Who can you ask for help from?
What do you know?
What do you KNOW in this moment that feels really good? (I'm healthy and everyone is safe.)

New results require new ways of thinking. When you have emotional management, nothing's a problem.
What if your drinking wasn't a problem?
How would you show up differently if you took away the should's, shame and guilt?
This is what we commit to practicing in 1:1 coaching, so there's never a reason why you can't.

This is available to you too.

Have a wonderful day,
Mary

PS: Here are my new thoughts I create on purpose, to generate the EMOTIONS of the HIGHEST vibration. I believe all of these 100%:

I belong.
The earth is abundantly generous and she is my home.
My personal TRUTH can never be wrong.
I have so many people who want to love me.
I have so many people to love.
I can give freely without needing anything in return.
My home is a dream come true.
My son is a gift from the universe.
He teaches me more about what life is really about than anything ever has.
I can't be wrong, ever.
I'm really proud of myself.
Matthew is the abilities to my ideas.
He is the hardest working man of my dreams.
I forgive every feeling of resentment I have ever had.
It's never personal.
My clients are courageous bad-asses.
Judging others is none of my business.
My body is my own.
It's a body that I love.
My body is amazingly magical.
This life is a wild dream.
I have access to to divine intelligence when I live in the vibration of the heart and EXPAND.
My pets just want love.
I have created everything I have every wanted because I believed I could.
I don't need permission from anyone else to live the life of my dreams.
I am a powerful creator.
Naps are important.
